My professional milestones
For the past eighteen years, I have been associated with IBS Software, taking up various roles within the organization, from a Software Engineer, to a Product Manager. During my tenure with IBS, I also had the opportunity to complete my EPGDM from Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode, which was in itself was a very rewarding experience. Prior to joining IBS as a fresher, I completed my B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering from Mar Athanasius College of Engineering and Technology, Kothamangalam, Kerala. I did my schooling from Vidhyadhiraja Vidhya Bhavan, Angamaly, Kerala.

- Invited to talk at ATPCO Elevate, Washington DC, on Implementing AI driven pricing for airlines (2024).
- Published blogs on Advances in airline Revenue Management and NDC adoption of airlines (2023, 2024).
- Presented a paper on Exploring Deep-Q-Learning in the context of Airline pricing at the AGIFORS RM Study Group meeting at Helsinki, Finland (2023)

- Conducted a webinar and published a whitepaper on AI driven price determination for airlines (2022).
Stabilized the product and contributed to building a strong go to market strategy. Evangelized the product, through published articles, whitepapers etc. as well as speaking at industry events and conducting webinars and built a solid pipeline.
Contributed to the advancement of the airline industry by sharing my experiences at leading industry conferences, and also publishing an article in a leading Revenue Management journal.
Currently working with some leading airlines to explore how the product could be implemented in their ecosystem.

Built a new age pricing engine for airlines that can compute air fares and ancillary prices using Machine Learning. The product helps airlines improve their revenue by introducing continuous pricing and ensuring that the prices are optimal.
Led a 20+ member team that constituted of business analysts, architects, developers, UI/UX experts, data scientists, data engineers and machine learning engineers.
Rolled out the product at a very large airline, stabilized it and generated a revenue benefit of 3% for the airline.

- Awarded "Certificate of Appreciation" by the customer (2017).
- Represented IBS at Long Island, New York, to certify the product for SITA CUSS, for a very large European airline.
- Rolled out, implemented and stabilized the first version of the revamped product for a major airline.
End to end technology ownership of a product suite that eases the process of baggage handling and tracking across hundreds of airports for several leading airlines and ground handlers in the EU and Australia.
As the technology responsible, used "Innovation Workshops" as a tool to drive innovation within the team, and generated product ideas, helping the product team excellent new features to the product roadmap.

- Led the design, development and implementation of the Self Service Kiosk version of the product across multiple airports.

- Solely developed an RFID read/write feature that runs in a hand-held device, improving the speed of back office operations for mis-handled baggage by over 5 times.
- Led the development of a PDA (Personal Digital Assistant) version of the product, offering better flexibility for ground crew, and improved passenger experience.

- Single handedly developed a new connectivity method (MATIP) for the product.
- Developed airport peripheral connectivity through SITA CUTE platform for bag tag printers, boarding card scanners etc.
- Certified the product for SITA CUTE platform at New York, USA.
Developed new modules, interfaces and connectivity methods for the product, and played a major role in onboarding a new customer - a large Australian airline.
General software development for a product that eases the process of baggage handling and tracking for airlines.
